BTC Isla is a Bitcoin Community Project located in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. The small island of Isla Mujeres (Island of Women) is located 8 miles off the coast of Cancun, MX. It is here, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean and the warm hearts of the island people that we are building BTC Isla. Our goal is to build a Bitcoin circular economy on the island. We are doing this by providing education, resources, technology, and a social gathering space for locals, expats, tourists, and anyone interested in learning about the future of money…Bitcoin.
